With the popularity and spreading of the interactive electronicwhiteboard in Qingbaijiang district, it is important for us teachers to take advantage ofthe electronic whiteboard, integrate subject teaching effectively and reform teachingand learning methods to improve teaching efficiency and promote the students’development, on which our recent research has put great emphasis.The article is aimedat studying how to build interactive and efficient classes and exploring the potential ofthe application of the electronic whiteboard to math teaching in primary school withthe use of interactive electronic whiteboard.It focuses on the problems which comeabout in this course.Regarding these problems as the drive, teaching cases as the carrier,math classes as the support and teaching practice as the trajectory, based on theresearch of documents and theories, the study combines some exact teaching examplesto explore the new thought of building interactive and efficient classes in primaryschool math teaching.It has put forward the ideas and principles of teaching design,thestrategy for application as well as the criteria for evaluation to improve the mathteaching quality in primary school.Besides, it integrates information technologyeffectively to serve math teaching and consequently promotes the development of thestudents’ thinking, which other teachers can refer to.
