Cooperative teaching is a new teaching form, emphasis all participating that thecooperative interaction in various factors, it can create a peaceful, democratic teachingatmosphere, improve the academic performance of students effectively, implement themultilateral cooperation and interaction between teachers and teachers, teachers andstudents, students and students, and help to dig the students learning potential, encouragethe students to develop good quality, its remarkable effectiveness soon attracted educatorsconcern around the world. The new teaching concept put forward new requirements andconditions of basketball course in junior middle school, how to adapt to the new teachingmethod is the requirement of social development, then makes its service in the junior highschool basketball teaching, which is an important problem in current and quite a long timesince junior high school basketball workers to solve.In this paper, using the method of literature, questionnaire survey method,experimental method, statistical analysis of various research methods and logic analysis,the cooperation teaching model in junior high school basketball teaching as the researchobject, conducts the research.The conclusions are as follows:1. The new teaching mode cooperative teaching emphasis on cooperation andcompetition, its basic characteristics are " cooperation in the group, competition intergroup".2. Applied in Basketball Teaching Cooperation Teaching Model on students’ basicquality and special technology has greatly improved.3. Cooperative teaching mode firmly seize the dependence, system interaction,competition, individual responsibility, team cooperation factors.4. Cooperation teaching model has higher requirements for teachers, strengthen theteachers’ effort, it can fully mobilize the enthusiasm of teachers. 5. Practice shows that the use of cooperative teaching mode in junior high schoolbasketball teaching, which makes the better construction of democratic equality of therelationship between teachers and students.
