Geography is a across the natural science and social scie ntific nature science, itsmain characteristic is comprehensive, regional and spatiality. And the middle schoolgeography discipline knowledge structure must also reflect the characteristics ofgeography. In the field of education,"the knowledge structure of" theory and thetheory of constructivism have been proposed for many years, but for high schoolstudents "geographical knowledge structure" what should be, and how should thesystem of the "construction" to the problems in students’ mind, there is little in-depthresearch and clear in this paper. Due to the lack of the structure of geographicalknowledge "ideal model" top-level design, middle school geography education existson the strategic goal is not clear of blindness. Current middle school geograp hyteaching, trying to curriculum or a plane tree in the textbook knowledge system, as aknowledge structure of "construction" to the student’s mind, apparently neitherconforms to the characteristics of the geographical science, also not too conforms tothe student’s perception of geographical knowledge and the process of "construction".Based on this, this study proposed the construction of a "middle school students’ mindthe geographic information system" point of view, trying to build the geographyknowledge structure of "ideal model", in order to explore the solve the aboveproblems.The author believes that "middle school students’ mind the geographicinformation system", refers to the middle school students, formed in the mind of byhuman senses for the whole or part of the earth surface in space to collect informationabout people, and the environment, and then based on the spherical geographicalcoordinates in your mind the multi-dimensional storage layer structure, managementand analysis, finally can through language, behavior and other means to describegeographical knowledge structure system. As one of the main system, it mainlyincludes three subsystems, namely the geographical spatial information databasesystem (people, land and environment information collection and storage systems),geography thinking analysis system (information management and analysis system)and geographic decision-making and expression system.The construction of "middle school students’ mind the geographic informationsystem", is a macro guidance and micro contact closely with process. Macro aspectsto solve good geographic knowledge structure of "ideal model" of the overallarchitecture, each "construction" should be clear in what position; The micro aspectsembodied in the teaching process, the various knowledge how to reasonableconnection to the existing knowledge structure. On the method of building, therefore,this article refer to the "geographic information system","brain science","constructivism learning theory","mind map" and the theory of "mind map" and soon, and combing with integration, analyzed their respective features and functions,and formulate the corresponding teaching strategies, to play them in constructionbased on the spherical geographic coordinates of the position and role ofmultidimensional layer structure. And on the basis of the township middle school in a mountainous area school teaching practice research, relevant conclusions and putforward the construction of geographic information system "" middle school studentsmind possible problems and solutions in the process."Middle school students’ mind the geographic information system" in thespherical coordinate system on the basis of multidimensional layer structure,embodies the comprehensive, regional geography and spatial characteristics, but alsoconform to the middle school students’ cognition of geographic knowledge and"construction" process. Based on this, this study suggests that middle school students’mind the geographic information system is a kind of geographical knowledgestructure of "ideal model".
