The world of human psychology is the dialectical unity of rational andirrational factors. Emotion, as an important part of non rational factors, playsa unique role on people’s thinking and behavior. To have a positive and healthyemotion is helpful to people to build up the correct world outlook, outlook onlife and values. Making full use of the unique function of emotion to people’sbehavior, can provide an inexhaustible motive force for the people to understandand change the world, meanwhile people can play beyond the usual creativity andimagination. At present, Chinese Ideological and Political Theory Course Teachingis facing weak dilemma, effectiveness is not obvious. The main reason is, theIdeological and Political Theory Course is over relying on cognitive educationwhich makes the teachers adopt single didactic theory model. The lack ofinteraction and emotional communication between teachers and students, studentsare not interested in learning enough, initiative and creativity is not strong.Application of the emotional factors in the Ideological and Political Theory Courseteaching can make the emotion between college students and the teachers moreharmonious, arousing college students’ interest in the Ideological and PoliticalTheory Course learning, bringing college students into the active and creativelearning, so as to enhance the effectiveness of the Ideological and politicalTheory Course. Therefore, the main content of this paper is introducing theemotional factors to the Ideological and Political Theory Course Teaching andinvestigating the application of countermeasures. The main content of this paperis divided into four parts:The first part discusses the connotation of emotion, respectively expoundsthe basic meaning of emotion and the meaning of emotion in the Ideological andPolitical Theory Course. At the same time, papering the functions of emotion inthe Ideological and Political Theory Course Teaching. The functions includingthree aspects: effective communication function, infection and incentive function and shape function.The second part, exploring the basic purpose of application of the emotionalfactors in the Ideological and Political Course teaching in college is to improvethe effect of the Ideological and Political Course. At the same time, puttingforward three specific objectives: enhancing the acceptance of the Ideologicaland Political Theory Course in college students, developing the initiative andcreative of college students in the Political Theory Course learning and realizingthe harmony of emotion between college students and the Ideological and PoliticalTheory Course teachers.The third part, exploring the conditions of application of the emotionalfactors in the Ideological and Political Theory Course teaching, including theIdeological and Political Theory course should reform the education idea andeducation mode and the Ideological and Political Theory course teacher must possessthe basics of applying the emotional factors in the Ideology and Political courseteaching. Then four methods are proposed for teachers to use the emotional factors:touching the students by emotion, touching the students by the truth, birthingthe emotion of students by establishing situations and birthing the emotion ofstudents by practice.The fourth part, combining with the current situation of application ofaffective factors in the Ideological and Political Theory Course teaching,discusses the countermeasures of application of affective factors in theIdeological and Political Theory Course teaching. The view of Countermeasurescontains two aspects: the first class and the second class, in order to applyingthe emotional factors for Ideological and political education for college studentsat different time and in different places.
