The postgraduates’training programs are some normative and guidance documents of how to cultivate and manage postgraduates, also are some basic cultivating standards. So its scientific, reasonable degree will directly affect the quality of postgraduates" training and the effectiveness of running university. Currently, our country is facing important opportunities and challenges of economic and social development, which propose the requirements of finding innovative programs to cultivate specify and various postgraduates needed by society. But with the enlarging of higher education, the issues of graduate employment had become increasingly prominent. How to cultivate a kind of postgraduate that both satisfy society’s needs and personal career ideal, social value is a big challenge for university. At the same time, the ability to develop a system of scientific and reasonable training program graduate has become one of the important issues for university in the process of planning and constructing the road of high-level university.The research, based on the perspective of employment, takes the higher education of S university as an example, and analyzes the employment situation from employment expectation, employment attitude, the factors influencing employment, problems of employment and expectation of the training unit six aspects. According to the interviews and questionnaire to the graduate students major in higher education, the writer draw three conclusions:1. Most of the graduate students major in higher education choose to work after graduation directly, and they feel that employment situation is severe, employment pressure is serious generally.2. Higher education graduate students’employment expectation is more rational but irrational factors are still exist in the process of finding jobs. Because they still pay much attention to their return after the human capital investment.3. The rapid expansion of scale of graduate students is just one of the external factors influencing the graduate employment, and colleges and universities graduate student talent training is the main cause leading to the severe employment situation.4. Postgraduates major in higher education and employers are eager to improve the comprehensive quality of graduate students by the way of university education in order to to improve their employment status, and meet the social demand of postgraduates major in higher education in ability.The research analyzes the present situation and the problems of the training programs of higher education postgraduates deeply from training objectives, curriculum setting, training ways and methods, research training, degree thesis, practical training system six aspects based on the analysis of the current situation and problems of higher education postgraduates. The problems of the training programs of higher education postgraduates are as follows:the objective of talent training is not clear, and the training objective is not match with realistic needs; the proportion of compulsory courses and elective courses is imbalance; the responsibilities of postgraduate training supervisors are not clear, and there is no strict and effective evaluation system for graduate students; scientific research training and the practice training should be strengthened.In order to solve the problems of the training programs of higher education postgraduates, this study Put forward the suggestions from training objectives, curriculum setting, tutors’responsibility and practice training four aspects.
