The Study On Opera Music In The New Primary School Textbook(Hunan Edition)

The study on the revision of music textbook for Primary school is an important work in the systematic project of basic music course reform in our country. The new music textbook for Primary school generally used in our country manifests a big progress is made in music textbooks for primary school.Studying Music Course Standard for Compulsory Education (Draft) promulgated by Ministry of Education in July 2001 and Music Course Standard for Compulsory Education(hereinafter referred to as The Standard) in revised by Ministry of Education in 2011, the author finds that Draft and The Standard both require to regard traditional opera music as important parts of compulsory education. The author has a great interest on it and do research thereon.To better spread great traditional opera works and promote national traditional music, the author studies the text of the opera music in The New Primary School Textbook (Hunan Edition) and the implement of it the primary school of Jiangjin District, Chongqing. The author hopes the study provides suggestions for the revision of textbooks for primary schools and the reform of music course in primary schools.The study consists of four parts. The introduction introduces the context, the significance, the current situation, the frame, the studying method and relative definitions, etc of this study. Chapter One analyzes the new primary school textbook (Hunan Edition) from the aspects of the proportion of opera music, the selection of the works, the form of the music and the relative activities of opera music. Chapter Two mainly studies the implement of opera music in the new primary school textbook (Hunan Edition) in Jiangjin District, Chongqing, which includes the brief, and the statistics and analysis of questionnaires, music classrooms and interviews of teachers and students. Chapter Three mainly summarizes the advantages and deficiencies of the new primary school textbook (Hunan Edition) in Jiangjin District, Chongqing, and proposes constructive opinions thereon.
