The most prominent feature of the primary school English teaching is children’s English class. The children’s English class is in urgent need of reform and innovation. So how to effectively use multimedia technology to optimize children English teaching becomes the focus of concern.This research, starting from the actual teaching, explores the strategies and key points of effectively using multimedia technology to optimize children English teaching through the theoretical study, teaching practice and experiment contrast. This research analyzes the problems of using multimedia in children English teaching, and leads the primary school English teachers use multimedia reasonably.This paper is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is the introduction. It describes the research background, significance and research methods.The second chapter introduces several related concepts and theoretical basis of using multimedia technology to optimize children English teaching.The third chapter specifically points out the multimedia-assisted vocabulary lesson modalities problems and designs the teaching experimentThe fourth chapter is the main part of this article. It is the implementation of the experimental class teaching design scheme. It finds solves the problems from the experiment.The fifth chapter is the experimental results and analysis. It compares the experimental class and control class.The sixth chapter is the summary and reflection. It summarizes the strategies and key points of effectively using multimedia technology to optimize children English teaching. It points out the conclusion of this research, the direction for the future research.
