With the coming of information age, people’s life and learning style got great change, the "fast, utilitarian" became a synonym for this day and age. Education sector is facing unprecedented challenges, teaching are becoming more and more utilitarian, teaching content followed for the entrance examination, students’ learning interest, really to dive down and read fewer and fewer. Reflect on the reading, in today’s world the phenomena of "shallow reading" classic is rarely touched. "Reading is to collect and process information, to know the world, develop thinking, aesthetic experience of important ways." But in our reading teaching in the classroom, a only speak knowledge, speak only ready-made theory "without thinking" is prevalent, it has to do with today’s social status is inseparable. To this end, the author hope to embodies the broad and profound social and historical life experience, can break the limit of time and space of fiction teaching, the introduction of problem-based teaching method, to respond to new challenges, practice the new curriculum concept, direct reading.Problem-based teaching method has since ancient times, it is found that the problem, analyze and solve problems as clues and this through a kind of teaching method in teaching. It is pay attention to cultivate students’ consciousness of reflection and questioning ability of a kind of teaching, teaching is to emphasize the students’ autonomy and explore. In the high school novel teaching, introduce the problem-based teaching method, to change teaching content pieces in the novel teaching present situation and student interest is low and appreciate simple problems. This paper, the basic framework is as follows:The introduction part mainly reviews the research on problem-based teaching method both at home and abroad and novel teaching research present situation. Found in reading predecessor research results, the problem-based teaching method in the application of the language specific stylistic study practice is less, so as to determine the direction of study of this thesis.The second part the author through interview and questionnaire survey line high school teachers and students, found the insufficiency of high school novel teaching, analyzes its causes and concluded that it is beneficial to improve the novel reading teaching enlightenment- to stimulate students learning motivation, to issue to drive students’ reading and thinking of combining the problem-based teaching method is to improve the novel teaching conditions, develop reading habits, effective way to improve your reading ability.The third part first to define the concept of "problem-based teaching method", and explains its significance in Chinese teaching: it is on the new curriculum reform advocates of the voluntary cooperation of inquiry learning, strive to build open dynamic language classroom practice, is completely in line with the concept of new curriculum. Secondly through the present novel reading value, and the expectation from the high school language teaching material editor to the novel and the realistic requirement of "shallow reading" crisis in two aspects, effectively prove the novel teaching has very important position. Again, the author introduces the characteristics and rules of language teaching has a novel problem, in order to guide the practice of the problem-based teaching method in the novel teaching.The fourth part is the key of this thesis, it miniature analyzed the problem-based teaching in the teaching of novel implementation strategy. Which contains questions and solve the problem of two parts- the question put forward strategy includes two aspects of teachers and students to ask questions. Problems put forward strategies including teachers how to put forward the main problems and do for line to grasp the whole article, teachers how to do with the question in the text as the point, fine article, I will bring to the students’ interest in the depths of the text. The second is how teachers guide students to discover problems. Problem solving strategies include the establishment of democratic equality of classroom atmosphere, students’ exploration, cooperation and communication. This part of the implementation of the strategy in high school compulsory teaching material of novel reveals, for example, in this paper is trying to combine the theory and case.Based on the theory and practice level clearly and proves that the language problem teaching method in the novel teaching is arousing the students’ interest in reading, develop the students reading ability is the inevitable choice and effective way.
