Now with the innovation of science and technology, the extensive application of the Internet and multimedia, the widespread use of and access to information of a large number of video data, especially the video material, as an auxiliary method of history teaching is applied to the classroom teaching widely, and indeed for history class add color many. The outstanding historical film and television works can play a significant role in all aspects of knowledge, broaden the students’ history to stimulate students’ interest in learning history, and active history teaching in the middle school history teaching in the classroom.In this paper, combined with the specific circumstances of the current high school history classroom teaching, to the film and television resources in middle school history teaching from the aspects of the application of the principles and existing problems in this paper.This paper is divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction of the history teaching under the new curriculum reform, analyzes the research status at home and abroad, and introduces the research significance and methods of this paper. The second part carries on the questionnaire survey to the senior high school of Panjin City, Liaoning Province, Dawa county. Introduces the investigation status, school selection and the main research issues. The third part is on the questionnaire analysis. Methods through the data statistics, inquiry form comparison of film and television resources in the teaching of the problem. The fourth part through the analysis of the case "the Opium War" to illustrate the application should follow the history of film and television works in middle school history teaching principle, objective principle, scientific principle, connection principle, focus principle, the principle of education etc.. The fifth part is summary section makes a general summary of the entire article.Anyhow,the teaching of historical film and television works and classroom excellent integration can also influence character by environment for students in the aspect of the influence of emotion attitude and value, so as to realize the high school history teaching in new curriculum reform emphasizes the emotion education task and function.
