Peer interaction refers to a common activity between the same or the similar age children. Or it refers to a kind of interpersonal communication that peers or someone has the same psychological development level set up and developed in the process of communication. Interpersonal communication is the beginning of a person from dependence to independence. As children’s age growth, from the neighbors to communities, villages and class, children’s interaction environment changing, children’s interpersonal is slowly expanding. It has an important positive effect to the development of children’s health.In the expanding process of communication, due to the changes of communication environment, children will experience a process from early don’t adapt to slowly merge. During this period, conflicts can be occurred. It can be shown as a physical fights or a psychological conflict, and even some children because of a long-term don’t adapt, act out Interpersonal barriers. To children’s healthy growth, it is very bad.Based on above, this article adopts social measurement method, participatory observation, questionnaire investigation based on the related studies about the elementary school lower grade students’ peer interaction. It aims to investigate the peer interaction in beibei district of Chongqing chengjiang second-grade students and to quantify the basic situation of primary school junior student about their peer interaction. It preliminary draws the following conclusion:1, to the elementary school lower grade students, there are no obvious peer interaction crisis. Most of them have a strong contacts will and have a good communication skills;2, the peer interaction about elementary school lower grade students shows the following several characteristics:First, it shows a significant difference between girls and boys. Second, it presents the significant difference between urban and rural areas. Third, the primary group plays an important part in the elementary school lower grade students’ peer interaction. The forth is that in different scenarios peer interaction brings out different characteristics;3, there are some troubles in the progress of the elementary school lower grade students’ peer interaction:self-centered、immaturity skill in peer interaction, individual existing peer relationship crisis;Based on this survey results, this paper discusses the human development in pedagogy. It points out that the education under tool rationality makes human subjectivity in pursuing usefulness. Harmonious education is a real reform to the traditional education which meets a variety of students’ needs in the process of communication and returns to the human nature demand. While the reality of the situation of education, lacking of "harmonious education" condition, needs to change.Family education and school education are two important external environments in the growth of low grade primary school students. It plays a very important role in the development of students and it should play an important role in facilitating primary school lower grade students’ peer interaction, which can promote the harmonious development of students.
