After 30 years of struggling development, Private Higher Vocational Education in Sichuan Province has become an important part of higher education of the Province. It has developed a large number of skilled talents for the country’s modernization and eased the lack of resources, which is the current situation of higher education. Besides its flexible mechanism has adapted to the requirements of market economy and skilled personnel training objectives for higher vocational education and injected fresh vitality to it as well. However, the currently issues that teachers of the private vocational colleges in Sichuan Province are unstable on job, have low job satisfaction, and also lack enthusiasm for work. It has greatly influenced the private vocational colleges to improve the quality of education. In this context, how to create a good development environment for them to improve job satisfaction of the teachers in private colleges, and to fully mobilize their enthusiasm for work is the principle issue the college and its management are supposed to settle.This paper focuses on the discourse of "Job satisfaction of the teachers of private vocational colleges in Sichuan", to carry out the investigation on the factors of job satisfaction from different angles and levels. The target colleges are some of the private vocational colleges of the province. In view of literature analysis and theoretical basis, open-ended questionnaire has been design throughout a comprehensive analysis of the specific aspects related to the content of the open questionnaire and literature analysis. The selection of suitable aspects is conducted to design enclosed questionnaire. Then, data have been collected from full-time teachers of four private vocational colleges of the province. Using principal component analysis, SPSS software has been used to implement empirical analysis on job satisfaction factors(JSFs) of teachers from the private vocational colleges. A model to describe the effects of JSFs of the private vocational college has been established to enable the analysis of the impact of JSFs on teacher’s job satisfaction. Finally, the strategies are proposed to enhance job satisfaction of teachers from the private higher vocational colleges and provide basis for sustainable development of higher vocational colleges of the province.
