With the continuous progress of science and technology, the rapid development of information technology, the human society in 21 st century changes people’s cognitive space, the requirement of lifelong learning increasing, the information literacy requirements raising and the desire to new ideas and new technology growing. Currently in china people’s information literacy need to be further improved, and that information technology curriculum is an effective way to cultivate people’s information literacy ability. however due to the information technology information curriculum not belonging to the study subjects, many schools do not pay enough attention to this curriculum, and most students’ attitude is wrong without clear learning goal, finally the teaching effect of the information technology is not ideal. All the above requires that the information technology teachers to find a way suitable for information technology curriculum development in today’s educational enviroment and teaching conditions, to improve teaching effect and to cultivate the students’ information literacy. This paper aims to explore whether blended learning model are helpful to highlight the teaching effect and to cultivate the information literacy of students, and to provide help and reference for information technology teaching. This paper can be divided into six parts respectively:The first part is the introduction, which mainly introduces the research background, purpose, significance, content, process, method and references, to conduct the study done a very good argument; The second part is the theoretical basis, which mainly contains the information technology teaching objectives and requirements, the related theoretical basis, the definition of connotation of blended learning and outline of the blended learning model; The third part is about the investigation and analysis of students’ information literacy in Jizhou senior high school, which is about the teaching present situation of information literacy in Jizhou city, the investigation and data analysis of students’ information literacy in Jizhou senior high school, and the importance of blended learning model to students’ information literacy training; The fourth part is about the construction and feasibility analysis of blended learning, the experiment scheme and the feasibility analysis of blended learning model in information technology and so on; The fifth part is the concrete practice and survey analysis of blended learning in the teaching of information technology, which mainly is to introduce the specific implementation process of AB group controlled experiment, analyze the results and the advantages of blended learning to improve the students’ information literacy; The sixth part is the conclusion and prospect, which contains the summary and prospect of this research, self review of inadequacies and the follow-up research.Blended learning mode which combine traditional classroom teaching model and network teaching model, to enable students to actively participate in their learning, teacher control the whole, finally make the teaching effect significantly improved. Blended learning model provides ample space for learning, students can give full play to their imagination and creativity, cultivate team cooperation and self explore to arouse the initiative, so that teachers can have more time for curriculum design and help the needed students, enhancing the feeling between teachers and students, improving the teaching efficiency, it is also helpful to cultivate students’ information literacy. This model has been unanimously approved by teachers and students, and can provide reference for information technology teaching in the future.
