Since the new curriculum, teaching of love stories attracts more concern and attention of most teachers. By the way its importance to the healthy development of students has also been affirmed. However, due to the historical tradition, the lack of relevant theory and practice and so on, there are still many problems in the teaching of love works now. According to these issues, some solutions are proposed in this thesis.The discussion of “appropriate teaching about love works of Chinese education in middle school” is divided into three chapters in this thesis. The first chapter discusses the Chinese love works in middle school and its present teaching status. “Love theme”is defined in the first section. And the distribution characteristic of love works in Jiangsu Education Edition and PEP is combed. The second section analyzes the current issues of teaching love works in middle school such as ignoring "love", excessive talking about “love ",over interpretation the “added value of love”. By the way, it explores the reasons why these issues existence.For example the love is so complex, the Chinese education is more utilitarian and the Chinese teachers themselves lack convinced degrees. The second chapter proposes the appropriate teaching about love works of Chinese education in middle school and explains its significance. The first section defines the concept of the appropriate teaching about love works of Chinese education in middle school through depth, breadth and limit. The second section shows the significance of the appropriate teaching about love works by the requirements of the Chinese New Curriculum, the physiological and psychological demands of high school students. The third chapter discusses the principles of the appropriate teaching about love works in middle school and how to practice. Based on combination of texts and multiple interpretations, combination of knowledge training and aesthetic education, combination of personality sentiment and value guidance, combination of classroom and extra curricular expansion, the principles of appropriate teaching about love works are presented by the first section. The second section shows how to develop the appropriate teaching about love works through two angles-schools and teachers. On the one hand schools should organize teachers to study the appropriate teaching of love works together in-depth. On the other hand teachers should integrate resources and organize the thematic teaching.
