Study On The Employment Quality Of College Students

In recent years, the employment of college students has become the most typical social issue, which emerges when higher education and society are increasingly developing, and it is highly concerned by government, public and media. Under this severe employment situation, the employment quality of college graduates is overshadowed by the employment rate. Although the employment rate,to a certain extant, reflects the market supply and demand of college students, it can not presents the key problems related employment quality,such as their salary level, job-stability and job satisfaction. In the report of the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC), it stressed that”improve and achieve higher quality of employment”, which puts forward higher requirement to graduates. Therefore, it is imperative and difficult to improve their employment quality. Based on such background and situation, this research will discuss the factors affecting employment quality and find a way to develop it, so as to provide some theoretical reference and practical support for college graduates for achieving higher employment quality under this severe situation.The conclusion and the innovative points of this study mainly include the following aspects:(1)Analyzing the status quo of employment quality from both subjective and objective perspective, the author learns that the situation is not optimistic in general, except the employment rate tends to a stable growth. The area of employment presents an uneven distribution, the salary, job satisfaction, job-stability and job suited rate also need to be improved.(2)By observing the present employment situation, this study discusses mainly from three Influencing factors of college students’ individual, university, and employment environment, in addition to the influence of these factors on the employment quality.(3)This study puts forward corresponding feasible suggestions and solutions to college students’ individual, university, and employment environment. As a key factor of improving the employment quality, college students’ individual should act positively and make enough preparations. The factor of university, which is the important guarantee,should provide strong and powerful support for students. Employment environment, a guiding factor, should be built as a fair and harmonious one to help college students’ get high quality jobs.
