The teaching of writing is a teaching subject which have a long history in China,As an important element of teaching,writing textbook plays a decisive role in writing teaching.With the development of society and history,the the writing textbook also have different historical task and contents.On the basis of the outstanding achievements of history,the new era make a new demand on the writing textbook.Nowadays,the writing textbook,as an important object of study,are always valued by researchers.The scholars and experts have made efforts to further optimize the writing textbook,and puts forward some constructive suggestions.However,from the the view of the development of the teaching material itself,there is not a real sense of writing textbooks have been used in middle school among the many versions of writing textbooks,but still use the mixed read-write mode,and the writing part did not get attention in the mixed read-write teaching materials.It also makes the research on the writing textbooks become more important and urgent.This paper focused on the writing system in senior high school Chinese textbooks(compulsory) of PEP edition in the new curriculum,and divided into five parts to study it.The first part including three parts of the content.The first is to review the development path of Chinese writing textbook.ln ancient Chinese,the writing textbooks mainly divided into two categories,they are "anthology" and "knowledge".The "anthology" is based on the "model essay",it pays attention to self understanding.The "knowledge" joined the writing skills in the teaching material besides the "model essay",which means that it is no longer a teaching textbook that only focus on self understanding.The development of modern writing textbook presents two characteristics,one is to promote the use of the vernacular instead of classical Chinese in form;another is to focus on the practicality of the article.Contemporary writing textbook is gone from private writing to unified program,and then to write independently by the provinces.The second is to summarizes the three main research areas of contemporary research on the writing textbooks:the status of writing textbooks,the goal orientation of writing textbooks and the content of writing textbooks.The third is to present the research status of the contemporary Chinese writing textbooks.The second part is to describe the specific content and frame structure of the writing training system.The writing training system has three sub-system,they are the writing topics in the "Express And Communication",the writing exercises in the "Reading And Appreciation "and the writing exercises in the "Carding And Exploration"The third part is to analysis the goal orientation of the writing system in senior high school Chinese textbooks(compulsory) in the new curriculum published by the PEP edition.The research show that the system is designed to convey the literary writing skills and a positive values.In order to effectively convey the writing skills,the teaching materials fix up the knowledge according to the characteristics of the writing process.And In order to effectively convey the positive values,the textbook writers selected a number of topic that closing to the student’s life.And it also makes the emotion and values to be heard.In the fourth part,we investigated current using situation of the writing system by using questionnaires.Based on the survey data,it found some problem in use of the writing system,it found that the writing system have a low awareness, satisfaction and utilization rate.And by analyzing the lesson,we found the existing problems of the system,such as inadequate material,outdated example and the generalization of the knowledge points.All these problem make it difficult to use the writing system.At the last,We summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the system.The advantages are that the layout of the knowledge is according to the characteristics of the writing process,and the theme is reasonable.The first disadvantage is that the writing system has not been paid enough attention,and the second is that the knowledge is too dispersed and summary,the third is lack of the knowledge of practical writing,the fourth is that the model essay is difficult to operate,and the fifth is that the writing exercises is lack of purpose.Based on this,we put forward five suggestions.The first,to increase proportion of the writing system in the whole Chinese textbooks.Second,optimizing the layout structure of the writing system.Third,adding the knowledge of practical writing.Fourth,to make the model essay more easier to imitate.Fifth,to make the writing exercises more therapeutic and instructive.
