At present, the new high school curriculum reform across the country are wildly beating to carry on. Who first initiative reform, who will own a piece of blue sky in the teaching field. We are constantly thinking and innovation, but also in the unceasing study and summary. The new curriculum reform requires to change the past’s traditional teaching mode, self-advocacy on the autonomous learning, students’ democratic and harmonious teaching atmosphere of equality, inquiry teaching. In this paper, to enhance students’ practical ability, innovation ability as the breakthrough point, based on the teaching practice of high school political lesson, the inquiry teaching practice research.The whole text is divided into five parts:The first part is putting forward to the question. Mainly from the current international, domestic demands for the quality of talent background analysis of imparting teaching at present has not met the needs of social development, in order to improve the students’ practice ability and innovation ability, we must change the traditional concepts of education, the inquiry teaching in senior high school ideological and political courses.The second part is the inquiry teaching theory. Elaborates the connotation, the inquiry is based on teaching of high school political lesson characteristics and using teaching examples of argumentation.The third part is the practical research of inquiry teaching in our school. This is the important part of the whole paper. Also in combination with our actual to further enrich and develop the inquiry teaching. That is, in my school teaching case for inquiry teaching carrier. Including the guidance case design of inquiry teaching.The fourth part is based on the teaching case of inquiry teaching existence erroneous zone. Including the emphasis on students’ autonomous learning and ignores the teacher’s misleading role; attaching importance to teaching form and ignore the effect of teaching; the unification of attention and ignore the inquiry plan flexibility; attaching importance to the student personality development and ignore the quality of all the students to improve.In conclusion, the author want to through this topic research, the correct understanding of "Inquiry Teaching" connotation, characteristics of theoryProblem, through the practice of classroom teaching, and explore a new way of inquiry teaching of high school thought political lesson, discover a problem, solve the problem in the practice application’s process need to be improved. Also expects to like me, confused in the exploratory teaching colleagues have some enlightenments.
