In the process of Urban-rural education integration, rural school has been playing the image of the weak. Therefore, a pressing matter of the moment to promotetheintegrationofurban and ruraleducation is to improve and optimize the rural school, and realize the education fair and balanced.In this paper, by improving the process of embedding the L primary school, from three angles of local level, interscholastic level and a micro level of internal school to analysis the improvement process of the rural school. This paper shows that the key to success of rural school improvement is the principal’s instructional leadership and humanistic management. The Education Department is the important force to promote rural school continuous improvement, training and assessment the capacity of improvement of rural school. At the same time, the inter school parallel power can speed up the process of the rural school improvement.In a positive external environment, external boosting force, and internal development desire, shapes up into an organic whole of rural school improvement.The principal is the soul of a school, the principal’s educational beliefs and personality can play an important role in promoting the rural school improvement. Teaching and learning is the root of school development, any concerns of the school reform cannot be fulfilled without teaching reform and learning reform, only when the principal returned to instructional leadership role, the school can obtain substantial improvement. Principal Z’s instructional leadership and humanistic management improved the effectiveness of school, she inspired the reflections of the teachersand students with enterprising spirit, calm attitude and careful style, and generated the positive culture of L primary school. Rural school improvement also cannot be done without the Education Department’s lead and support at the macro level support. L primary school participated in the “dream League”which is composed of four rural primary school education development community,eachschool according to their own characteristics opened up an unique school improvement way. It can be said that the improvement of rural school is a trip, the scenes behind every station are worth with participants waiting.
