Setting up the Ideological and Political Theory Course fundamental significance lies in service to our educational goals that cultivate moral,intellectual, physical, and aesthetic round development of the people so that at first, the moral and political qualities consistent with human and social development needs, therefore, The course must be fully reflected in the teaching of the relevance and effectiveness; Make each student must become the masters of learning, to ensure that ideological and political education not only stay in the indoctrination of class theoretical level, but also students should thoroughly inside and reflected in action,it is called achieving the unity of knowledge;at the same time, through student participate in instructional design, thinking,classroom interaction and participation of teachers and other education reform,so that make different levels of students can be from their horizontal line to get a better acceptance and development.This paper on how to improve the ideological and political theory teaching, "the teacher speak, students listen or take notes," the traditional teaching model,in particular how to promote better the full participation in the ideological and political theory teaching university students in Xinjiang, To some extent,explored the theory and practice.Practice makes perfect. Theory produced in practice and practice test theories,the ultimate goal of the ideological and political theory course is to improve students’ autonomy and practical ability. Over the years, Ideology and Politics Teachers in Xinjiang college teaching less desirable for change teaching effectiveness.they do a lot of work to enhance the effectiveness of teaching.For example: the use of project-based teaching methods in teaching, carry out a keynote speech, the roles were reversed and so on. However, in mobilizing and promoting student participation, improve teaching quality and enhance the capacity of students still unsatisfactory.This paper through the use of observation, questionnaires and interviews methods for the situation of teachers and students to participate in the ideological and political theory teaching survey found that traditional education system and teaching mechanism behind is fundamental reason that student’s participation is not high. Schools, authority of teachers teaching model is a major source of low participation of students, Course content not only difficult to integrate with the actual. But also affect the depth and breadth of student participation; uneven quality of teachers, and students to participate in acts of obstruction; consciousness and knowledge level of students is not high, and also affect the comprehensive ability to participate. At the same time, college lack of evaluation and assessment mechanism of student participation and the negative impact of the external environment, Eventually led to the students have prejudice against the ideological and political theory class, students’ performance in the classroom negative, student participation, lack of motivation,can not be implemented to ensure the effective participation of students teaching and become masters of learning.From the situation and outstanding problems of ideological and political theory courses in Xinjiang, the exploration of students to participate fully in Political Theory Teaching urgency. Improve student participation in the full range of requirements, which is determined by the body of student as a teaching internal demand, mobilize the initiative and the enthusiasm of the students decided to enhance the effectiveness of the ideological and political theory. For this reason,the education system should be reformed as soon as possible, to improve the education system; reforming the existing teaching model, rich forms of participation; teacher play a baton role, Solid advance student participation;encouraging students to participate; create a favorable external environment and participate atmosphere. Eventually promote student participation all round of ideological and political theory teaching; improve students’ ability better to enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education, achieve the ideological and political education goals.
