Drama is an essential component of Chinese teaching in the middle school. After entering the contemporary era, there is a large inconsistency between the actual status of drama teaching and the selected textbook contents and the teaching requirements, the related requirements in curriculum standard (Syllabus) because of the influence of exam oriented education, stylistic features and other factors. In the aspects of the compiling of drama, textbooks have presented the "All flowers bloom together" scene with the continuous progress of the new curriculum reform, but there are still imperfect aspects as the lack of regional distinction and age features. In the real classroom teaching, drama teaching is gradually being indifferent and neglected, getting into the embarrassing situation, and becoming the "trough" in Chinese teaching.Faced with the above problems and embarrassing situation appearing in the teaching materials compilation and Chinese drama teaching in high school, trying to provide some guidance for the Chinese drama teaching in high schools, this paper starts from two aspects of theory and practice and the author obtains comprehensive first-hand materials through reading literature, cases analysis and questionnaire, uses the theory and method of educational research, and refers to textbooks compilation and teaching in different periods in China. The following parts will be discussed in this paper:Introduction:four aspects including research origin, research status, purpose and significance of the study and research ideas and methods are discussed in this section.The first part:an overview of the selected article and the meaning and significance of the high school drama teaching Chinese drama. It is mainly divided into two aspects. The first one is the research survey of drama selection; the second one is the meaning and value of the research of the drama teaching.The second part:the analysis of the present situation and problems in Chinese drama teaching in high school. It is mainly divided into two aspects. The first one is the investigation and analysis on the present case study combined with a questionnaire survey, and the second one is the analysis of the dramatic text lesson plans and classroom record.The third part:the research of strategies of Chinese drama teaching in high school. To investigate the drama teaching strategies, drama teaching evaluation strategy and the implementation of the recommendations of drama teaching are involved in it in three aspects.Conclusion:it summarizes related discussion, and draws the conclusion.We should be good at absorbing the beneficial ingredients from the existing teaching methods and rejecting the dross; at the same time we should also establish innovating, to bring forth the new ideas through the old repeatedly. In this way it can be great helpful to compiling and teaching of high school Chinese drama.
