The Spatial And Temporal Evolution And Countermeasures Of The Population Aging In Jilin Province

For a long time, our country will be the world’s most populous country in the elderly; the huge population base provides the conditions to accelerate the aging process. At present, China has entered a period of rapid development of population aging, Jilin province is one of the provinces in China, is no exception. According to the fifth and the sixth census data of Jilin Province, the coefficient of the elderly population increased from 6.04% in 2000 to 8.40% in 2010, the elderly and the youth’s proportion increased rapidly from 31.92 in 2000 to 70 in 2010. At the same time, the elderly population dependency ratio also reflects, in 2000, 12 labor bring up an older people on average, in 2010 has reduced to 10 labor bring up an older people. So, the process of population aging in Jilin province is obviously very quickly in recent 10 years.In this paper, we can know the basic characteristics of the population aging in Jilin Province in the time span. Combined with the Arc GIS software by using the map to present the coefficient of aged population, the elderly and the youth’s proportion, dependency ratio of elderly population, elderly population density and geographic concentration ratio of the elderly, this will make the change trend on the space stick out a mile. And then use the grey relational analysis method to find the influencing factors of population aging in Jilin province distribution evolution,further, analysis of the effect of aging process on the two aspects of economy and society. First, the impact on the economy is mainly reflected in the aspects of the supply of labor, industry structure, industry of aging and social security system etc. Impact on society is mainly reflected in the income and distribution, moral cognition, social undertakings, the challenges of the elderly and other aspects. Finally, combined with the actual situation of the population aging in Jilin Province, put forward the following measures: establish a more perfect, fair, sustainable pension system; in urban and rural areas, strengthen the role of the government on security and supervision respectively; turn the old-age services into industrialization and socialization; develop the elderly resources to improve the utilization rate of the elderly; promote cultural products based on respecting and loving the old.Prior to this, the scholars research the aging of the population on Jilin province from the aspects of demography, economy, and social pension mode etc.This paper researches the aging of population of Jilin Province based on the theory of population geography. And present in the form of graphical and statistical analysis by using some certain mathematical methods and geographic information system technology. Let the results of the past only by qualitative description and comparison of quantitative analysis enriched. We can know the spatial and temporal evolution of the elderly population in Jilin Province, to provide a theoretical basis for the further study of the aging population in Jilin province.
