With the development of the new curriculum reform, the situational teaching has become the darling of the history teacher in junior high school, a growing number of history teachers have become practitioners about the situational teaching. But by reading literature, combined with my own teaching practice and classroom observation, find that there exist some problems in the implementing situational teaching in junior middle school history classroom, such as most of the history teachers consider the situational teaching as the tool of import, method of setting the situational is single, the use of historical data is simple in the process of setting up the situational. These problems influence the effect of situationalal teaching in the junior middle school history classroom and are not conducive to the reform development of junior middle school history teaching.On this basis, the article specificaly inquiry implementing situational teaching in junior middle school history class. The first part of this paper expounds the necessity of situationalal teaching in junior middle school history class from three aspects of the new curriculum reform demands,history discipline characteristics and the junior middle school students psychological characteristics. The second part combine related cases to analyze the diversity and comprehensive of method of setting situationalto make efforts in practice to explore how make integrated use of situational setting method to realize situational throughout history classroom; Combined with the related case analyze the rich attaches great importance to the direct reference to the historical data and historical data presentation in the context of setting situation, try to mining history subject characteristics of setting situation. The third part briefly analyzes problems in the process of implementing situation teaching. These problems is a result of a combination of many factors such as the social environment, teaching conditions, student factors, teachers’ problems.The solution of these problems could enhance the effectiveness of the junior middle school history classroom, and is important to change the way of promote the junior middle school history teaching, so situationalal teaching in the junior middle school history classroom need further research.
