Since the reform and opening up, Chinese higher education has obtained the considerable development and remarkable results. It has formed a scientific system of higher education which adapting the construction of national economy and social development. The higher education has trained a large number of senior specialized talents for the socialist modernization construction and played an important role in the national economic construction, scientific and technological progress and social development. However, because of the influence of the traditional education concept, the higher education management also has many problems in some aspects. The author takes the Wuhan Institute of Technology as the study subjects and does some research on the reform of higher educational administration.There are four parts in this research paper besides the introduction and conclusion parts.Part one:the origin and change of educational administration theory and introduction of the concept of creative education. For this part, the author puts emphasis on the possibility of applying creative education theory for the higher educational administration.Part two:the present situation of Wuhan Institute of Technology in educational administration. In this part, the author points out the characteristics of present situation of Wuhan Institute of Technology in educational administration.Part three:the problems existed in the present situation of Wuhan Institute of Technology in educational administration. Moreover, the author analyzes the reasons towards these problems.Part four:according to the theory of creative education, the writer put emphasis on the solutions towards these problems and difficulties.The innovation of this paper lies on two aspects:firstly, it innovates the content of research. Secondly, it brings out some new methods. These methods are full of innovation, specializing and application.
