Chinese teachers’ professional development means:the process of professional development of learn segment in the elementary school to high school Chinese teacher under the combination of factors and the external environment.In the process of professional development, Chinese teacher will inevitably be affected "career plateau period", at a certain stage their professional development stalled. Now,language courses continue to reform, how to overcome the career plateau phenomenon, to achieve their own professional development is very important for primary and secondary school Chinese teachers.After reference to the studies of "teachers’ professional development", this study use of "muliple case study method ", The study investigated a primary school Chinese teacher, a junior high school Chinese teacher and a high school Chinese teacher as the research object, in the process of research, according to the interview outline, respectively, for the research object and its leaders, the students conducted semi-structured interviews, and one of the research object for the last two months of classroom observation, collected the information about the research object of some kind. In this study, primary and secondary language teaching profession plateau of performance factors were analyzed, and made recommendations for mitigation studies teacher plateau phenomenon.In this paper, the basic structure as follows:The first part is introduction, mainly introduced the selected topic reason of this study, the related literature review, research value, research purpose, relevant concept definition and research framework.The second part is to explore the professionalism Chinese teachers from vocational character Chinese teachers, language teachers’ academic knowledge and teaching ability Chinese teachers, Chinese teachers research capacity in four areas, set up in this study about the theory basis of the language teacher career plateau.The third part of this research described three Chinese teachers who had or in the plateau of career plateau,mainly analyzes the phenomenon factors of in career plateau of performance and promote their professional development.The fourth part analyzed that individuals, schools, and social factors that can affect the Chinese teacher’s career plateauIn the fifth part,the causes of Chinese teachers for career plateau phenomenon occurs, from social, educational researchers, schools and Chinese teachers themslf and other aspects of Chinese teachers to alleviate career plateau phenomenon suggestions.The sixth part is the conclusion of this study, presented findings, the contribution of research and research prospects.
