Because of examination-oriented education for many years the students’autonomous learning ability is gradually weakening. It also influences the cultivationand the formation of autonomous learning quality. With the advancement of qualityeducation and the arrival of lifelong learning society, to develop the students’autonomous learning quality is becoming more and more urgent. The goal of a newround of education reform is to develop students’ autonomous learning quality-to laythe foundation for the lifelong development of students. Therefore, every highschool political teachers must face how to develop students’ autonomouslearning quality.The innovation of this paper lies in the teaching practice based on the Yang Xiansenior middle school in the city of Yi Xing, to explore the strategies of developingautonomous learning quality in high school’s political course from the teachers andstudents development point of view, to expectation the prospect of high school’spolitical class.There are three parts in this paper to elaborate the development of autonomouslearning quality for high school’s students.The first part, the paper analyzes the concept of autonomous learning andautonomous learning quality. And then it illustrates the theoretical basis forthe cultivation of autonomous learning quality respectively fromphilosophy, learning theory and psychology etc. Finally it analyzes the necessity ofstudents’ autonomous learning quality training in high school political course.The second part the paper use the questionnaire survey and the interview survey toillustrate the situation in high school students’ autonomous learning of political course, to analyze the existing problems and reasons through an example of Yang XianHigh School in the city of Yi Xing.The third part from the flexible and rational use of teaching methods, students self-controlling ability, the development and utilization of various curriculumresources, enriching textbook knowledge and improving the quality of teachers,establishment of multivariate evaluation mechanism the pager preliminary wants tostudy of cultivating autonomous learning quality strategy.
