Objective:Through the investigation of medical postgraduate students’ Sub-health status inChangchun city, the study analyses the related factors which influence the medicine’ssub-health status of master students.The purpose of the article is to keep a good statusof physical and mental health as well as work for teachers and administrators incolleges to carry out health education provide with constructive reference,and exploreeffective measures for the prevention and control of sub-health.Methods:The paper is a cross-sectional study. For convenience,800medical graduatestudents from different grades of two universities in Changchun city were selected asresearch objects. Basic information questionnaire and Sub-health Rating Scale(SHMS V1.0) were used for all medical postgraduate students. Basic informationquestionnaire was used to collect basic statistics about medical graduatestudents.SHMS V1.0was used to investigate the sub-health status of medical graduatestudents.Epidata3.0software was used to input data, and SPSS17.0software was usedto do statistical analysis of data.Results:1.800medical graduate students of two universities in Changchun city were giventhe questionnaire,763(95.38%)qualified questionnaires were returned.625(81.90%) ofChangchun city medical graduate students were in sub-health status.2.The total score,each scale score and each dimension score of SHMS V1.0showthat medical graduate students of sub-health in Changchun city scored an average of65.77±9.52. The physical sub-health, mental sub-health and social sub-health scoredan average of (69.54±9.60)、(62.17±12.16)、(64.69±12.95). The order of eachdimension score from high to low is: body movement function, energy, social adaptation, social resource and social support, physical symptoms, positive emotionand psychological symptoms, organ function, cognitive function.3.The total score and each dimension score of SHMS V1.0show that thesub-health total scores of sleep amount, breakfast situation,living situation, exercisesituation, professional satisfaction or not, academic pressure, employment or futurepressure, pressure from parental expectation and stressful events have significantdifference (p<0.05). Age, professional, family type, sleep amount,breakfast situation,living situation, exercise situation, professional satisfaction or not, academic pressureand pressure from parental expectation in the dimension of physical symptoms scoreshave significant difference (p<0.05).Sleep amount, breakfast situation, livingsituation, exercise situation, professional satisfaction or not, employment or futurepressure and stressful events in organ function dimension scores have significantdifference (p<0.05).Age, home address, family type, sleep amount, breakfastsituation, employment or future pressure and stressful events in the body movementfunction dimension scores have significant difference (p<0.05). Home address,one-child or not, sleep amount, breakfast situation, professional satisfaction or not andacademic pressure in energy dimension scores have significant difference (p<0.05).Sleep amount, living situation and professional satisfaction or not, academic pressure,employment or future pressure, pressure from parental expectation and stressfulevents have significant difference in positive emotional dimension scores (p<0.05).Gender, living expenses, sleep amount, living situation, exercise situation,professional satisfaction or not, academic pressure, employment or future pressure,pressure from parental expectation and stressful events in the dimension ofpsychological symptoms scores have significant difference (p<0.05). Livingexpenses, sleep amount, living situation, professional satisfaction or not, academicpressure and employment or future pressure have significant difference in cognitivefunction dimension scores(p<0.05).Age, sleep amount, breakfast situation, livingsituation, professional satisfaction or not, academic pressure, employment or futurepressure, pressure from parental expectation and stressful events in social adaptationdimension scores have significant difference (p<0.05). Gender, home address,marital status, sleep amount, breakfast situation, living situation, professionalsatisfaction or not, employment or future pressure and pressure from parental expectation in the social resource and social support dimension scores have significantdifference (p<0.05).4.Based on the single factor analysis, we know that family type, living expenses,grade, sleep amount, breakfast situation, living situation, professional satisfaction ornot, employment or future pressure, pressure from parental expectation,academicpressures and stressful events are the related influence factors of sub-health (p<0.05). By Logistic regression analysis, breakfast situation, living situation,professional satisfaction or not, employment or future pressure and stressful eventsare the main factors which influence the sub-health status of medical graduatestudents (p<0.05).Conclusion:1.The sub-health status of medical graduate students in Changchun city is notoptimistic, because the detection rate is high.2.Family type, living expenses,grade, sleep amount, pressure from parentalexpectation and academic pressure are the related factors influencing the medicalgraduate students of sub-health.3.Breakfast situation, living situation, professional satisfaction or not,employment or future pressure and stressful events have a significant impact formedical graduate students of sub-health.4.The medical graduate students’ sub-health dimension of body movementfunction is the best, cognitive function dimension is the worst.5.The medical graduate students’ psychological sub-health level is the worst.
