Childhood is a critical period for personal growth, due to the rapid growth of physiological and psychological, they have produced strong interpersonal need, This need can be met or not plays a key role to the healthy growth of their psychology, but this need of the children are often overlooked by teachers and parents. Education is multifaceted, except the exam-oriented education, mental health development of children also deserves attention, good interpersonal communication with teachers and friends have a positive impact on the academic performance of children, congruent communication is a healthy, high self-esteem means of communication, compared with the other four non-health communication model, it’s a good deal of self, others, and the environment, the development of children’s congruent communication has a positive impact on their later life.Group work has attracted more and more attention in social work practice in our country because it can be carried out in various forms. No matter what we use to study the social point of view, we always need to put people in society consider, in consideration of their relationships, because people always live in a group which has a close and lasting relationship. Human need a sense of belonging which is a powerful, fundamental, universal motivation. Everyone has their own mode of communication, some people’s interpersonal communication style as long as it becomes clear through individual communication, that some people need several times communications in the group in order to know their interpersonal style, a group is just like a microcosm of the social, in this group, people can confirme their behavior, interpersonal style and corrected them, group of maladaptive interpersonal behavior to be confirmed and corrected to form the congruent communication. In this paper, by the support of the group work and the theory of the congruent communication, we simulated the real classroom to observe the interpersonal communication habits of children, on this basis, the planning-related activities helped the members of the group to change their bad communication habits, and ultimately achieve congruent communication.
