As a technical leading field sports, basketball plays for a long time, which putsforward higher requirements on the athletes’ physical fitness. Athletes not onlyconsume huge energy, but also have a strong physical ability of the body fight on thepitch. The athletes request to have a good body posture and movement control, In orderto better play technology. However, good body control ability will be decided by thecore muscle strength. Through the kinematic chain theory, we know that a good corestrength can make the athlete pass strength to the upper limbs to maintain the stabilityof the shooting skills, then improve the shooting. Therefore, the core strength trainingplays a very important role in basketball training.In this study, the core strength training combine with and traditional strengthtraining and basketball special physical training, in order to design and develop thebasketball player’s physical fitness training program through practice of two and a halfyears, discusses the core strength training’s impact on women’s youth basketballplayers of Shandong province. Training arrangement is three times special physicaltraining classes a week, which include core strength training, traditional strengthtraining and special physical training,1.5to2hours each time, the core strengthtraining part is about30to45minutes.After two and a half years of training practice, functional exercise test score hasgreatly improved. The athletes’ movement model is improved, the core control abilityenhanced, waist and abdomen core muscle strength and endurance have improvedobviously, and the intensity of jump shot hit ratio also has been greatly improved.Through various games in2011,2012and2013, Shandong youth women’s basketballplayers have greatly enhanced the ability of against and score rate on the pitch, whowin the2011Annual National U16Championship, the2012Annual National U17Championship and youth women’s basketball Championship of the12th nationalgames.
