The private education is an important part of China’s public education. It has beenmore than thirty years since China’s reform and opening-up. With the continuousexpansion of the scale, the private education has now entered the deepening of reform,the connotation construction, characteristic development stage. It has made greatachievements, while also facing many problems: such as weak public welfare, industryoverstepping, limited selectivity, etc. The sustainable development has become a majorproblem of private education.This paper is to study on sustainable development of private education usingeconomics, management science and other theories, research on the current problems ofprivate education existing in Handan city, and establish the operating mechanism forsustainable development.Through in-depth study of sustainable development and economic theory of thedomestic and foreign private basic education, this paper makes quantitative andqualitative analysis, summed up the helpful strategy for the sustainable development ofHandan’s private basic education.
