Since the1980s, China’s vocational education has made remarkable achievements. As educational objects, vocational students are generally between17to22years old, who are still immature like children. They form the special group of higher education. There are restless hearts hidden in their bright jackets. Faced with the pressure of school, emotional entanglements, the frustration of employment, etc., they are confused, anxious and even desperate. The problem of college students’mental health has become a pressing issue.The standard of mental health is relative. For most students, they will experience a variety of psychological problems in the course of middle school, university and employment, most of which can be solved by self-awareness and self-adaptation. From the psychological process, a healthy mental activity is a complete and unified coordination, which ensures the overall coordination of the individual in the process of the objective world reflected in the level of accuracy and effectiveness. As a part of social life groups, college students’ mental health problems are developing and changing, the basic criterion is that students can learn and live effectively.An online survey on students’problems of current study conditions and interpersonal communication was conducted among students of year2012(1,045people),2013(1,315people) and2014(1,288people) in Hainan College of Software Technology. Based on the University Personality Inventory (UPI), Self-reporting Inventory (SCL-90) and other quantitative tools, we found that vocational students have the following problems:internet behavior is common, and some students are internet addicts; learning passirely, strong sense of inferiority, low acceptance of their college; complex and sensitive interpersonal relationship, not good at dealing with all kinds of interpersonal relationship; courtship is common among students, very few students haven’t formed the right values on love passive on job hunting and weak on emotion control. As for these problems, based on the summary of existing research results and experience and the case study of Hainan College of Software Technology, the author implemented a comprehensive study on the problems of vocational students’mental health and countermeasures. This paper describes the following aspects:Firstly, the paper introduces the research background, significance and research status and methods; secondly, it mainly explains the concepts covered in this article and several theoretical basis; thirdly, based on the current mental health education of Hainan College of Software Technology, it describe the current survey, major mental and behavioral problems and influence factors; fourthly, with advanced experience of some vocational colleges in china, the paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the current problems, so as to further enrich the research results in this field.
