Universities and colleges play an important role in the process of popularizing higher education and improving the overall quality of the entire people of the nation. Newly-established undergraduate colleges, as emerging forces, satisfied the needs for all-rounders and the longerness that parents wish their children to enter colleges. With the growing expansion of newly-established undergraduate colleges, while many old college teachers are retiring, lots of young college teachers come in and are becoming the main forces of teaching, researching and management in newly-established undergraduate colleges. Therefore, due to the lack of teaching experiences and research competences, an important practical problem for newly-established undergraduate colleges is how to improve young college teachers' capabilities to take up competence and challenges in the process of fast development of higher education.The article adopts both of theoretical and empirical research methodology. Based on the analyses of relative researches and investigations, it selects internal and external factors which influence teachers' autonomous development as the research problem and one of newly-established undergraduate colleges in Jiangxi Province as a study object which is independently upgraded to undergraduate college and run by state. According to the first-hand data by means of open-ended interviews and questionnaires, the article uses SPSS17.0 software to analyze the reliability and validity and statistics of questionnaires and comes to a satisfactory conclusion of the status of young colleges teachers' autonomous development in A college. The research finds out there is a distinguishably positive correlation between the total marks of autonomous development and self-assessment of young college teachers in A college. The result shows that most of young college teachers agree that the major factors which influence young college teachers' autonomous development are autonomous capacity, autonomous behavior, family environment, campus environment and social environment, but the effect that autonomous motivation influence is neglected by young college teachers. According to the results, the article offers corresponding suggestions to solve the problems of young college teachers' autonomous development from three angles of state, college and individuals. To a certain extent, the research has theoretical and practical significance for improving the autonomous development of young college teachers in newly-established undergraduate colleges.
