An Research On Over-education Of Graduate Students In China

Human resource is one of the powers of the society development. It is becoming akey factor to affect the economic development and the society progress. Now facingthe increasing number of graduates need to work and the decreasing employment rate,the contradiction of the work and the teaching should be taken into consideration bythe institution of higher education. This paper is basis on the over-education toanalyze the problems, reason and the address of the economic graduates during theunder-education and over-education.The concept of over-education and research summary of the domestic andoverseas will be offered. Then the appearance and character of the over-education ofeconomic graduates will be analyzed with questionnaire. And depended on thegraduates employment status, we make a research about the effect on over-educationfor the economic graduates. Afterwards, we use Analytic Hierarchy Process to test theinfluence of the over-education and find the deep reason of the over-education ofeconomic graduates. Finally, for all the problems, improving measures and effectiveadvice will be offered to help to solve.With hard research, a total of380questionnaires, effective recovery of335copies.We think all the problems will be showed by the four factors below,inconsistent between majority and work;work requirement beyond the personal ability;the big gap between learning and practice;high academic degree inappropriate workposition. The other four factors make these problems, society, education, family,personal. With the analysis data, we find out the reasons for that, faultiness education,institutional isomorphic of higher education, the effect of the economic developmentstage in our country, unscientific concept of enterprise, inaccuracy choice concept ofgraduates. Then, offer advices as below, improve the interact of the education andeconomic development; pay more attention on higher education development,improve the education quality; create a good family atmosphere to built scientificvalues; and conduct the choice of the graduates.
