Owing to the education demand, the economic development, andConfucian culture, the extracurricular tutorial agencies for primary and middleschool students come into being and have been developing. To a certain extent,“tutorship fever” shows the excellent tutorial agencies own advantages on teachingand management. The individualized teaching in tutorial agencies is that accordingto the different learning bases, motivations and personality traits of students, thetutors make customized plans to teach them in order to improve students’ academicperformance and overall quality. The best ones, which have the scientific process ofteaching service and perfect management mechanism, adopt the individualizedteaching management mode to improve the quality of teaching and promote teachingsmoothly.This research is based on the famous tutorial agencies in Beijing, such as Xuedaand Longwen education and so on. In the form of interviews, teaching stories andquestionnaires, the author investigates and analyzes in depth three parts of theindividualized teaching management: tutors and students, teaching process, teachingresults. First of all, the tutorial agencies are strict with full-time teachers in the entryand process management, and implement flexible management for students.Secondly, having analyzed in depth the processes of individualized teaching servicein three agencies, the author summarizes the characteristics on teaching contents,teaching methods, relationship between tutors and students, and evaluation. Thirdly,the teaching result management focuses on the teaching quality. The teaching teamspay attention to students’ personalized needs, psychological state, growth process, soas to make students master knowledge and skills, at the same time, cultivate thestudents’ interest in learning, methods, habits, ability, and perfect personality.The research results show that the effective management can make teachingimprove students’ learning achievement, learning ability, comprehensive quality, and promote students’ development. But many tutorship agencies are unable to do trulyindividualized teaching. They should take relevant measures in order to optimize themanagement and reduce the negative impact of ineffective teaching. In addition tomarket guiding and regulatory policies, the self-management should be done. That isto say, strengthen the individualized management on tutors and students, optimizethe process of individualized teaching service, and promote teaching quality.The author investigates the individualized teaching management in famoustutorial agencies to explore the experience and find out their advantages, which canhelp to provide advice and reference, for solving the problems of management andfor the reform on school management, and can help to improve the teaching quality,management level, promote students’ academic level and comprehensive quality.
