The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effectiveness of composition teaching in junior high school under the background of new curriculum, this problem comes from the inefficient composition teaching in junior high school. The way of my research are mainly Based on the field and questionnaire investigation. The investigation of the present composition teaching situation in junior high school of Hainan is to find out the reasons of inefficient of composition teaching,, and make recommendations for the existing problems, and improve the effectiveness of composition teaching in junior high school.The paper is divided into three parts.The preface part mainly introduces the reasons and purposes of the research. Based on the former research about the effectiveness of composition teaching, raise my questions, such as the composition teaching in junior high school is in an inefficient way, so as to find the thesis of my research.The text part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is about the investigation and reflection of present composition teaching situation. It includes the investigation and analysis of teachers and students. Through the investigation, to know more about the current situation of composition teaching: the composition ability of students in junior middle school is unsatisfactory, composition teaching has some responsibility. The second chapter: put forward the effective strategies to composition teaching for junior middle school. This is the main emphasis of this paper. How to improve the quality of composition teaching in junior high school and how to improve students’ writing level are the key and difficult points in composition teaching. This part put forward the effective composition teaching strategy from four aspects, including: clear teaching objectives, optimizing composition teaching content perfect composition teaching process and select the composition training. The third chapter: analysis of junior middle school composition teaching cases. Such as analysis Dragon boat festival from the composition teaching effectiveness.The last part is the conclusion of this paper, including the conclusion and prospect to the composition teaching effectiveness in junior high school.
