In 2009,Gansu Province started the full implementation of a new round basic education curriculum reform.One important change is to advocate the development of school-based curriculum,so as to achieve the three level(national,local and school)curriculum construction and management morphological transformation.This is an important way to realize quality education,promote and meet the diversified and deep needs of the development of the students.It is also an important way to realize the comprehensive and overall development of schools,teachers and students.Since the development and practice of Chinese school-based curriculum in the No.1 Middle School in Heshui county(hereinafter referred to as the Heshui No.1 Middle School),it inspired students to learn the knowledge of Chinese language,especially the strong desire of the traditional culture.It has gradually formed its own characteristics of campus culture,and made a positive contribution to propaganda and inheritance of culture in this area.But it exposed a series of inevitable problems in the implementation steps and ways.Taking the Chinese School-based Curriculum in Heshui No.1 Middle School as a case,by the method of questionnaire,interview and observation,the paper made research into the current state of implementation of the school-based curriculum in our school.Through the questionnaire survey on the students and teachers,combined with my own three years teaching experience,the paper aims to make people understand the current situation of our Chinese School-based Curriculum,and finds out the following problems in the implementation of the School-based Curriculum:(1)The publicity is not in place.The majority of teachers and students lack of knowledge;(2)Teachers lack basic skills in developing the School-based Curriculum;(3)The conventional teaching task is heavy,so teachers lack of energy to develop the School-based Curriculum;(4)The college entrance examination affects the implementation of the School-based Curriculum;(5)Logistic support is insufficient.For the problems in developing Chinese School-based Curriculum in Heshui No.1 Middle School,combining with the teaching practice to analysis deep reason for these problems,in order to improve the quality of Chinese School-based Curriculum in Heshui No.1 Middle School,it needs to be improved from the following aspects:(1)Increase the propaganda.Try to understand the school-based curriculum correctly;(2)Enhance the ability of teachers to develop School-based Curriculum by intensive training;(3)Try to explore the resources of the Chinese curriculum in local area and to improve the development and utilization of the School-based Curriculum resources;(4)Strengthen the School-based Curriculum development;(5)Perfect Chinese School-based Curriculum Evaluation system.
