The implementation of new curriculum reform requires a lot of curriculum resources to support, with the deepening of new curriculum reform, the importance of the curriculum resources of ideological and political teaching in high school is increasingly highlighted, and the interest of the majority of teachers and scholars and research. Local red culture resources, as a kind of effective way of the education of high school political class, its rich resources form not only provides a rich teaching material contents, the scientific education methods and effective teaching methods for high school political class, but also effectively guarantee the students’ ideological and moral education of political orientation, greatly improved the students’ moral emotion. But because the consciousness of the ideological and political teachers’ exploiting and utilizing local red culture resources is weak, although some researchers are aware of local red culture resources development and utilization in strengthen the patriotism has distinctive value of emotional education, but only stay on the call level. Local red culture resources, as the curriculum resources to the development and utilization in high school ideological and political teaching, did not cause the extensive concern of the researchersIn this paper, the author consulted many related materials in order to do some theoretical and practical exploration in the development and utilization of local red culture resources in high school ideological and political teaching, combined with the subject characteristics of high school ideological and political classes.After explaining the scientific connotation and features of local red culture resources, this paper mainly discussed the status and role, present situation analysis, the principle and countermeasure of development and utilization of local red culture resources in the high school ideological and political teaching and connect the local red culture resources with economy, politics, culture and philosophy. The author also tried to make the local red culture resources play a role of moral education value in high school ideological and political theory course teaching and develop the education at a higher level.The ultimate purpose is to strengthen and improve attention given to the local red culture resources in high school ideological and political education to the teaching work, thus becoming a highlight of innovation of ideological and political education courses, looking for local red culture resources of breakthrough and development in teaching methods. The author hopes that this paper can call for high school ideological and political teachers’ action in the high school ideological and political teaching into the local red culture resources and the local red culture resources can really exert its function of moral education. This article will provide some references in the development of high school ideological and political of curriculum resources in the future.
