Development of the domestic and foreign video open course is like a raging fire, many high quality curriculum resources has quietly changed our study and life, but there are also many problems in the process of development,and the problem of history video open course were also the epitome of all discipline problems. To better understand the domestic video open course, this paper mainly based on the NetEase Open Class platform, taking the history video open course as an example, selecting 9 all translated foreign history video open courses and 35 domestic history video open courses as the object of study, using comparative research from the basic situation, teachers, teaching process, the effect of video recording, post messages, and other dimensions on deep interpretation,and comparison difference between domestic and foreign history video open course and its advantages and disadvantages, proposed our country video open course improvement suggestions.Research results show that: 1, the course basic situation, foreign topic is macro, comprehensive strong, most of the topic is very professional, content is also more system; while the domestic more specific, the focus of small, mostly for a special aspect of the selected lectures, has a strong science and interest. Foreign video open course about number and length of courses are far greater than our video courses, but the updating speed is much slower than the domestic, to some extent, affected the continuity of the learners’ learning. In language, the foreign existing translation problems not professional enough precision, and domestic teachers Putonghua level needs to be improved. 2, in the aspect of teachers’ teaching style, the Chinese teacher heavy import, heavy teaching, knowledge, and foreign teachers’ heavy logic, thinking, inspiration, this is the two markedly different. 3, the teaching process, the foreign teachers based on heuristic teaching and interspersed with case, open freedom of thought. But the domestic teachers often adopt the case teaching, material abundant, but there are drawbacks instills into the type teaching. In teaching activities, the lack of domestic like foreign random real classroom atmosphere, interaction between teachers and students are too rigid curt. The teaching content, each have advantages and disadvantages of both at home and abroad, to complement each other. 4, video recording effect. Although China’s video effect is indeed better than abroad, but both the gap on video recording effect for learning effect is not very big, so do not blindly pursue the video recording effect, so as to avoid without spending too much on the value of the course of human, material and financial resources. 5, in the reply message, the positive evaluation of foreign history video open class thread message proportion is higher than the domestic, illustrates the learners for love degree foreign video open course is relatively high. But foreign video of the open course about the advice or seek help from aspects of the message share are much higher than domestic, this suggests that the learners in learning a foreign video in the public class encountered more obstacles and difficulties, eager to seek help.In this paper, by comparing the differences between domestic and foreign historical video open course exists and the advantages and disadvantages, put forward the following suggestions: enhance the teachers’ personal charm, the formation of a unique teaching style; show the true nature of the situations in the classroom, create active and relaxed classroom atmosphere; adopt flexible and diverse teaching methods, pay attention to the heuristic method of teaching, to cultivate students’ creative thinking ability; teachers should emancipate the mind, out of the barriers of"curing the thinking mode ", get rid of the academic chains of “historical research paradigm"; pay attention to the teaching content of the comprehensive and interdisciplinary, both interesting and professional guidance before class and after class; perfect service system, promote the video open class and school classroom teaching integration; reveal Chinese characteristics, building more distinctive features, a novel topic of video resources, do a good job of promotion of construction work; to establish multivariate evaluation, promoting with the evaluation reform, promote the development and improvement of video open course; organize special translation agencies and personnel, organization, planning, have to choose to carry out foreign video open course of translation work.
