With the globalization of world economy,it is extremely urgent to cultivate creative talents with international vision and good geographic literacy. Geography as a comprehensive subject, covering a full range of knowledge mainly include natural geography, human geography, and regional geography knowledge, complex content. The current status of geography teaching in China is not optimistic, cannot effectively conform to the requirements of the new lesson mark, also cannot effectively the implementation of the three-dimensional goals of students. Originated in the United States reverse it overturns the traditional classroom teaching mode, provides new ideas for education reform at home and abroad. Flip class helps students individualized learning, learners can according to own actual condition is to control the progress of the study, in order to improve the learning efficiency. Flip the classroom teaching structure, the greatest innovation is reconstructed the upside down in the traditional classroom "knowledge transfer" and "knowledge internalization" two stages. Put "knowledge transfer" in class is completed independently by the student, and in the classroom by the teacher by way of discussion communication with students "knowledge internalization" stage. In this process, the teacher and the students’ role has changed, teachers from the traditional knowledge into a knowledge guidance, students from passive recipients into knowledge of the researchers. So will flip classroom design combining with geography teaching, to turn the classroom concept based on the geography teaching design.In our country, the research of turn the classroom is just started, the scope of implementation is relatively small, combining with geography teaching design is not yet mature. The author is by limited information and not mature research capacity, to turn the classroom is used in the design of the geography teaching has carried on the preliminary study.First of all, this article through the literature method, the paper introduced the research background and significance of this thesis and the research train of thought and framework. Secondly, through the literature method, this paper introduces the research status quo of Chinese and foreign to flip the classroom. Again, according to the content of the interview for the teachers, summed up the current status of geography teaching design.Finaly, according to the status quo combined with o ’clock geographic required a second chapter in the first quarter "atmospheric heating process of the specific case, analyzes in detail how to flip the classroom concept is used in the design of the geography teaching, through the interview method,questionnaire investigation and observation are analyzed in detail the shortage of the case and its improvements, the lack of this paper studies and prospects of the last show.The innovation of this article is to flip the specific concept of classroom can be applied to specific geography teaching design, and according to the specific geographic chapter of thetextbook content analysis, there is no theoretical, but the apply theory to practice, just a lot of deficiencies in the process of research, behind will continue to correct them.
