| With the reform and opening up, the economic growth of China has a very strong momentum, but now, Chinese economic development, pioneered the historical precedent, also made an outstanding contribution to the development of world. The final development of economy, however, is in order to enhance the social well-being of the people, so as to promote the national happiness index. The increasing happiness of each person is no longer a single individual goal, but the ultimate expression of social economy in a certain degree, and the enhancement of the people’s happiness index can promote the development of social economy, and turn to be the basic starting point of the harmonious society. The reason why happiness has become the focus of our attention is that happiness has a lot to do with health, not only physical health but also mental health. The elderly can both have a healthy body through physical exercise and feel more comfortable mentally, so as to promote their subjective well-being.With the middle-aged and old people in Changzhi city Shanxi Province taking part in physical exercise as the research subject, this paper studies the effect of sports exercise on the elderly’s subjective well-being, using literature method, interview method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics, logic analysis and other research methods,.Through the study, we make the following conclusions: The participants, the middle-aged and old people taking part in physical exercise in this survey, has a generally low cultural level; They usually live in couple; The exercising places primarily focus in the park or square; They have a very big difference in living habits between different genders; The exercising time concentrated in the morning and evening respectively; The purpose of taking physical exercise is to enhance physical fitness; The frequency of the exercisers to participate in physical exercise is mainly for 3 to 5 days a week or exercising every day. The exercising intensity center mostly in 31 to 60 minutes every time; The activities are mainly concentrated in the content of the martial arts, dance, and going-running classes; The elderly usually has higher subjective well-being scores who participates in the physical exercises; Different ages of the participants will get a very different subjective well-being; Different participants with their own self-awareness of health in the elderly, with the decrease of individual health, the subjective well-being shows a trend of decline; The elderly with different physical exercise behaviors shows subjective well-being.The subjective well-being of the elderly, therefore, should be paid more attention, and pay more attention to the great influence of physical exercises on the subjective well-being of the elderly. Government departments should strengthen the construction of sports, the sports facilities, humanities education, propaganda, etc, to provide better conditions, and as to improve the society participation of the middle-aged and old people, then improving their subjective well-being. |
