Social adaptation is one of the important contents of mental health,and college students are facing the negative impact of insufficient social adaptability.This will not only affect their study and life,but also hinder their future development.Nowadays,mental health problems caused by insufficient social adaptability,such as loneliness and depression,and then cause injury cases,abound.In the latest curriculum standards,social adaptability is also mentioned: adaptability is one of the three components of healthy behaviors,which is embodied as to adapt to the natural environment changes,harmonious interpersonal relationship and good communication and cooperation.With the increasing attention to social adaptability,then how to improve it becomes the primary issue.Physical exercise and social adaptability is very close,and can have a certain effect.Therefore,this study wants to understand the specific relationship between physical exercise and social adaptability,and to further explore the mediating and regulatory role between the two by adding emotional intelligence variables.This study mainly use the questionnaire survey method,selected from northern,central and southern six universities 603 university to senior students,using high reliability and suitable for college students of physical activity rating scale(PARS-3),the emotional intelligence scale(WLEIS)and the social adaptability diagnosis scale for measurement.SPSS21.0 software was used to organize and analyze the data,and the conclusion are as follows:(1)Anhui University students physical exercise is mainly small exercise;emotional intelligence is at the middle level;social adaptability is poor.(2)There are significant differences in physical exercise;emotional intelligence in gender,grade,major and family location;and social adaptability in demographic variables.(3)There is a significant positive relationship between physical exercise and emotional intelligence,and physical exercise can significantly positively predict emotional intelligence,that is,the higher the total score of college students' physical exercise,the higher the emotional intelligence.(4)There is a significant positive relationship between college students 'physical exercise and social adaptability,and physical exercise can significantly positively predict social adaptability,that is,the higher the total score of college students' physical exercise,the stronger the social adaptability will be.(5)There is a significant positive relationship between emotional intelligence and social adaptability of college students,and emotional intelligence can significantly positively predict social adaptability.That is,the higher the total score of college students,the stronger the social adaptability will be.(6)Emotional intelligence plays a partial mediating role between physical exercise and social adaptability.(7)Emotional intelligence does not play a regulating role between physical exercise and social adaptability.Furthermore,self-emotional assessment and emotional assessment play a positive role between physical exercise and social adaptability;emotional utilization plays a negative role between the two;emotional regulation between the two.
