Under the background of rapid development of information technology and social demand for talents to expand, this paper choose a new instrument-Wechat, which is adapted to teaching fine arts in junior middle school, as an example to explore the application of new instrument in the education of junior middle school; the writer of this paper combine the teaching examples in Tianshui Yifu Experimental middle school, with the studying of the related theory to classify new instruments. Besides, in order to enrich the theory of the fine arts educational practice as well as its system of methodology, the writer will also compare, distinguish and prove advantage and disadvantage of application of Wechat, and cite several examples to show how Wechat applied to the practical teaching in fine arts education of junior middle school. This paper is aimed at providing specific and feasible teaching model for the fine arts teacher in junior middle school. Through application of the new instruments, the teachers can improve their professional quality, build an efficient teaching environment, arouse students’ interest in fine arts, inspire students’ innovation ability, and enrich the fine arts teaching activities, in the consequence of that, the fine arts teaching activities will be more suitable for the belief and aim of the new curriculum reform.This paper include 7 chapters. The 1st chapter is the introduction, which consists of the research background, the literature review, the related theory, the aim and significance of research, the process of research and the methodology of research. The 2nd chapter is the definition of new instrument, it will define the new instrument, classify its specification and introduce the 3 aspects of it to lay the foundation of new instrument’s application. The 3rd chapter aims to analyze the problems which exists in fine arts teaching. In this chapter, the writer will combine the questionnaire and interview with the experience of teaching practice to introduce the questions and analyze the current situation of fine arts teaching. The 4th chapter is the applying value of new instrument in fine arts teaching. This chapter is based on the question which is mentioned in the 3rd chapter, the writer will discuss the concrete applying value of new instrument in fine arts teaching from students teacher and educational influence. The 5th chapter is to introduce the principles and the strategy of the application of new instrument in fine arts teaching. The 6th chapter is the case study of the application of new instrument, and it is the key point of this paper. In this chapter, the writer will introduce the principles and strategies and also show the case of application, the purpose of which is to provide a concrete and available applying method. The 7th chapter is conclusion, which make an conclusion of this research and introduce the deficiencies of this paper.
