Abstract:Primary school is at the stage of compulsory education, rural area has always been a weak area of China education development, English teachers in rural primary school is not optimistic. The main obstacle to the balanced development of compulsory education is the imbalance of teachers’structure, so optimize the teachers’structure is an important measure to solve the imbalance of the development of compulsory education in china. Strengthening the construction of English teachers in T rural primary school can optimize the teachers’structure; therefore, a significant subject is to how to promote the building of English teachers in rural primary school in the field of compulsory education in china.This paper is mainly under the background of promoting the balanced development of compulsory education and construction of teachers, using the method of literatures, questionnaire and interviews, a comprehensive study of current situation of the English teachers in T rural primary school of Hubei Province and analysis of the questions and reasons of affecting the building of English teachers in T rural primary school, the survey found that questions of affecting the building of English teachers in rural primary school exist as follows:teachers is lack of professional talents and teachers structure is irrational; work pressure and work burden of teachers is heavy; the professional quality of teachers needs to be improved, education idea is not the same as education behavior and examination is teaching objective; the training effect is not just as one wishes; the teachers generally think that wages is low, working living conditions is poor. This article analyzes from the macro level, meso level and micro level.This paper is based on Investigation and analysis of the current situation of English teachers in T rural primary school, exploring the problems and the reasons of affecting building of English teachers in T rural primary school, the analysis is based on the findings, putting forward some countermeasures, Such as:strengthening the education investment and the full implementation of security treatment of teachers; the introduction of high-level professional talents, improving unreasonable phenomenon of the teachers structure; the implementation of the integration of urban and rural education and strengthening the communication of teachers; lightening the burden of teachers and improving the efficiency of teaching; improving the professional quality of teachers and strengthening the training of education; education concept is same as action and teaching quality is needed to be improved; strengthening the moral construction. Optimizing the structure is to achieve the balanced development of compulsory education.
