The curriculum revolution of the basic education stage went to the new revolution age facing the twilight of new age.The new geography curriculum commitment to mission to improve the scientific literacy and to promote all-round development of students. A large of educational theory researchers and practice researchers who generally concern about evaluation revolution, which will became a important segment in the process of drived on new curriculum.In addition,It required good evaluation of students to guarantee,which are realizing the value of course and practicing the goal of the course. Therefore, in the process of evolution of the new curriculum, it would have a key meaning for evaluation revolution of the basic education,which is to build a geography evaluation system for improving the development of junior students.In view of basic ideas of farseeing evaluation towards students, and based on considerate the present situation of students’ evaluation in learning of junior geography.In this article, In requirement of the curriculum revolution of the basic education in our country, in sight of farseeing evaluation towards students, I deep explored farseeing evaluation of learning junior geography in two aspects.In theory, based on the requirement of curriculum reform, the thesis discusses the meanings,characteristics,functions and ideas of the developmental assessment in science education.Based on the geography(7-9 grades) curriculum standard, the characteristics of secondary school students, the meanings of geography and reality of science curriculum,we design the project of developmental assessment in science education, bring forward the goals,contents, objects of the development student assessment of in science education. A preliminary research is done by the education experiments. In practice, I explored in educational internship from three aspects including farseeing evaluation of classroom teaching, farseeing evaluation of practical activity and test evaluation,and I gain initial success to make progress of farseeing evaluation from five points: Interest in learning,Learn self-confidence, Learning ability(the skills of reading and presentation;Innovation capacity; Practical ability), result of geography exams,the sense of unity andcooperation.The outcome of practice shows that It is more available for improving the students’ study interesting and confidence to launch farseeing evaluation towards students than traditional evaluation, It is more helpful cultivate students’ comprehensive ability and the progress of students’ geography achievement. I suggest that should activity use and popularize farseeing evaluation.The study have shown that: In order to pursued effectively the development of evaluation, we must deal with the following issues, the key: it is the key to Improve teachers’ assessment literacy; two pairs of contradictory(1) This practice tries to properly conduct the relationship between Selection function and excitation function,(2)This practice tries to properly conduct the relationship between quantitative evaluation and qualitative evaluation; three questions:(1)Building a effective and practical evaluation system,(2) it is helpful that Timely. Feed back to promote students reflection and to adjust learning strategies,(3)giving play to teachers the meta-evaluation.
