Currently, the research groups in the secondary vocational schools do not reflect their functions sufficiently. The introduction of knowledge management theory into the professional knowledge management for teachers is of active practical value and theoretical meaning for the construction of research groups. Taking the secondary vocational schools in Fujian province as the research object, this paper studies the construction of the secondary vocational education research group from the perspective of knowledge management through four methods as literature, interview, case and questionnaire method. Based on research, there are some problems occur in the management of research groups in secondary vocational schools:tendency of administerization in education research activities, simple form of education research activities, low enthusiasm of teachers in participation in education research activities, poor sharing among teachers in their knowledge. These problems may be caused by teachers themselves, education research group leaders and schools. According to the education research results, it suggests that the secondary vocational education research group should be constructed from the following three aspects:improve the desire of teachers to share their knowledge; clarify the role definition of the education research group leaders; enhance to attract the attentions of schools.
