Objective: The purpose of the paper is establishing a semester teaching intervention system in track and field teaching field. It investigates the positive function on entertainment teaching in track and field through analyzing teaching intervention result within a semester and then provides theoretical basis for the reform of PE teaching.Method: The study method selecting 183 middle school students whose age are between 14 and 16 from four classes in two schools. It divides the students into experimental group and control group. The observation period is 18 weeks. The two groups will accept teaching at the sixth and seventh class on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week. The experimental group is taught in intervention system and the other group is taught in the normal teaching method. In the first week there is a test on two groups in heart and lung, sensitive, endurance and speed. Also there is an interest survey in learning on the PE class. In the 18 th week, there is a test on students about several qualities which are tested in the first week and the test result will be comparative analyzed by the first result.Result:(1) The score of the FVC experimental group is higher than the control group(P < 0.05).(2) The mark of the standing long jump is higher than the control group(P < 0.05).(3) The score of the control group is higher than the Chinese super league run projects(the men’s 1000 m, the women’s 800 m)(P < 0.05).(4) The boys and gils’ average score of the running in 50 ms is equal within the experimental group and control group(P < 0.05)(5) The score of the experimental group is a little higher than the control group in the Sit-dimensional precursor(P < 0.05).(6) In the project of Chin-up, the improvement of the experimental group is a bit higher than control group in the aspect of one minute sit-ups(P < 0.05).Conclusion:(1) There is a notable function on several aspects through semester teaching intervention system in track and field teaching field that are respiratory function, sensitive quality, speed quality, flexibility quality, strength quality.(2)The improvement of the track and field teaching entertainment interventions in endurance quality compared with the traditional teaching method has no significant effect.
