Since the new curriculum reform, there has been a higher request for teaching Chinese literature appreciation in junior school, which has abandoned the teaching concept that examination is the only purpose and attached importance to students’ humanistic education.Literature appreciation is an indispensable component in Chinese teaching in junior school, through which students’ ability can be constructed by themselves and developed further. However,they tend to be lack of strategies in the relevant examinations. Based on the facts above, the paper discusses the corresponding strategies through three chapters. Chapter one--A Summary upon the Status of Junior Students’ Study in Chinese, where the education status, the education methods and thoughts are analyzed and discussed. Chapter Two- The Key Points and the Process in Junior Modern Literature Appreciation, where the significance in appreciation teaching, the development upon appreciation ability, the key points and teaching process in appreciation are discussed. Chapter Three--The Teaching upon Literature Appreciation in Junior Chinese Class, where the teaching methods are discussed. with appreciation as an example.
