Research On Current Situations And The Countermeasures Of Higher Vocational Education In Xinjiang

Xinjiang is being on the way with high speed to great-leap-forward developing period of time, and technology-applied talents are increasingly needed by all business of society. However, the lack of talents will surely influence both the speed and quality of the full development of economy, society and education in Xinjiang. As part of higher education, Xinjiang Higher Vocational Education(XHVE) shoulders the task of fostering the skill-applied talents. Based on the reality of Xinjiang, the article explores the problems on the way of development of XHVE. It analyzes the factors restraining the fast speed of XHVE and raises pertinent advice and suggestions. The article conclusively points out that XHVE should be aware of its responsibility of serving for Xinjiang local economy and social development with taking Xinjiang’s reality into consideration, strengthening self-construction. In order to obtain long terms development, XHVC is expected to learn from and absorb the foreign advanced experience in schooling by enhancing vocational education research,taking creative educational teaching mode. What’s more, XHVE should improve the construction of teaching staff and team to enlarge the proportion of double-professional-titled teachers. The cooperative schooling methods with enterprises and other colleges in terms of production, study and research is to be applied to raise the capacity of running school and talent-fostering ability of colleges. Meanwhile reaching the currency of double won for all the participants. In the end, the article analyzes the present developing situation of Xinjiang and concludes that the foreground of XHVE is bright.
