For Chinese teachers the most difficult thing is to teach composition and for students is to write. Chinese, as a mother tongue, has no more advantages.In the vigorous Chinese educational reform, composition teaching reform is also difficult and has little effect. Besides, students always get tired of writing and even fear of it.In view of the traditional techniques of teaching composition one-sided emphasis on writing theory, ignoring the life practice guidance and thus causing the composition empty and rhetoric, this research tries to explore a series of operational practical experience. The study analyses the current problems of high school students composition teaching through methods such as questionnaire etc.. With modern psychology, education psychology, theory of Ye Shengtao’s writing thoughts as the basis, the study also explores the effective methods of happy writing and summarizes the basic thoughts of happy writing. It makes students under great pressure delighted to learn Chinese, free to express ideas, show their personalities, satisfied with their own writing and really experience the joy from writing. Happy composition is supposed to truly practice quality-oriented education under the trend of the new curriculum reform. This research consists of four chapters, namely,the analysis of the present situation, the analysis of the theory, the practical exploration as well as the assessment and inspiration, which completely explains the view that happy writing makes students gain a sense of achievement by pursuing genuine,kindness and beauty.
