| President Xi Jinping made a significant instruction on the development of vocational education. He stresses that vocational education is of great component of national education system and human resource development and it is also an important approach for the youth to open the door to success.It has an area of 806 square kilometers of Shunde District of Foshan City,Guangdong which situates in Pearl River Delta and governs ten towns with household appliances、mechanized equipment 、electronic information, and so on as its backbone trades, which came to the first place of Top 100 Counties in China in 2014 with the gross industrial output value of 644.04 billion. Computer specialty has already been established in 13 secondary vocational schools in Shunde District. Electronic information is most prominent industry in Shunde. However, the reality is that the development of computer specialty in secondary vocational schools comes to the choke point. On the one side, computer application personnel are in great need from enterprises and on the other the students majoring in computer science cannot find an appropriate post of duty due to low ratio of fitting in specialty. The computer application specialty has been establishing in our school since 1995 for more than 20 years already. The employability of our students is embodied in the use of office software、image and picture processing、 e-commence、website design, and so on and the students working areas are mostly in Lunjiao、Daliang, and so on of circumjacent areas. The ratio of fitting in specialty is low, which is worth thinking that how school teaching and requirement of society are appropriately matched and how seamless joint can be achieved between fostering students and enterprises.It is known from secondary vocational schools accordingly that the problems of application ability training of computer specialty students are included as follows.1. The professional curricular design hinders the development of specialty. As we all know, computer application specialty is fast development industry. The design in question is in the shortage of knowing and understanding of social needs. It also lacks character of system and dynamic integration, which does not attach enough importance to practical ability2.The objective of specialty is still indistinct. Some schools cannot figure out what work their computer specialty students will be engaged in and what jobs suit their students.3.The ability of students` transformation from theory to practice is still weak. The students from secondary vocational schools have a weak basis in studying, slow in comprehending and not knowing how to put what they have got from school into force in their work.This thesis understands the current situation of demands for talents of computer specialty in Shunde under the facts of our school, survey in enterprises, informal discussions with students and their parents and consultation on relevant literatures, through which we reposition the professional emphasis and quality of the talents cultivation,clarify the course structure, add practical courses, set up special project work room and start-up site, strengthen the professional quality education, amend the course system of art design specialty and put forward the implementary approaches of personnel training mode. Through two years application of the new personnel training mode, the performance of students` professional skill, verificine and technique contest is greatly improved. |
