Study On The Integrated Management Of Electronic Records In Colleges And Universities In The Cloud Computing Environment

With the rapid development of information technology, standing at the frontier of colleges and universities started to build digital campus construction. A great number of electronic records were born immediately in teaching, scientific research, management and social service departments. These electronic records are regarded as an important part of digital assets, authentic records of school construction and development, as well as play a special role in reserving, providing and enlightening. However, some serious problems need to be solved quickly to effectively manage and make good use of the electronic records as massive and variable electronic records are fast growing.This paper attempts to combine cloud computing technology with electronic records management. On one hand, this highly integration is low cost, resource pooling, highly virtualization, storage capacity and flexible. They can be rapidly applied to various fields and brought challenges and opportunities to the scientific management of electronic records. On the other hand, the integration of ideas in the field of records management plays an important role in guiding and driving the practice of the records. The organic combination of cloud computing technology and electronic records management will solve the difficulties of electronic records management, improve efficiency and finally realize the scientific management. Therefore, the development of electronic records management will be an integrated management mode of electronic records in the cloud computing environment.This paper interpretates the integrated management of electronic records in colleges and universities. Aiming at the present situation, it applies cloud computing to comprehensively evaluate the integrated management of electronic records in colleges and universities by the strategic analysis method of SWOT. Then it proposes a top design idea of the electronic records integrated management in cloud computing environment and constructing the integrated management model based on the cloud. Finally, it put forward that colleges and universities should strengthen the integrated management of electronic records from perspectives of the management standards, technical specifications, business restructuring and so on, in order that the electronic records in the life cycle always in the clouds to provide one –stop service for users.
