Building an innovative nation needs innovative talents, and the cultivation of talents relies on education. Teachers’ innovative teaching activities are the main way to cultivate innovative talents. Higher vocational education training not only can cultivate the talents with superb skills but also cultivate excellent talents of comprehensive quality. Young teachers are the main force of teachers in higher vocational colleges, so the investigation of present situation of the teaching innovative ability of young teachers in Higher Vocational College, and the exploration of how to promote the teaching innovation ability of young teachers in higher vocational colleges have the very important theoretical and practical significance.In present study, we used the questionnaire and the interview form, visited ten Higher Vocational College in Changchun city,such as Changchun Vocational Institute Of Technology and Jilin City Technical Vocational College etc. Analysis of Present Situation of Higher Vocational College young teachers’ teaching innovative ability : including the basic individual differences in young teachers’ teaching innovative ability, the reflections on the innovation and the applications to daily work and study, and the applications in teaching methods, teachers’ participation in training activities and the effects of these training activities in Higher Vocational College; There are many problems in young teachers’ teaching innovate ability in Higher Vocational College: from individual differences, including young teachers does not attach importance to teaching innovative ability; The lack of professional knowledge, professional qualities and professional skills; Teachers’ participation in training activities of teaching innovative ability is relatively less; Teaching methods and the presentation of teaching resources is single. There are also problems from Higher Vocational Colleges and social, including the Appraisal System is unreasonable; Higher Vocational Colleges don’t attach importance to internal cultivation, and personnel arrangements are unreasonable, and the database is not perfect, and legal protection is not perfect; Lack of funds invested in Higher Vocational Colleges and does not endorse, and so on. After the analysis of factors influencing young teachers’ teaching ability to innovate, we found that there are objective factors and subjective factors. Last, we put forward higher vocational colleges teachers’ innovation ability of ascension countermeasures and suggestions as below: firstly, young teachers should establish the consciousness of Teaching Innovation and lifelong learning; secondly, young teachers should constantly update knowledge reserve and attach importance to Teaching Innovation practice; finally, it requires the joint efforts of the High Vocational College and our society.
